  2. Beautiful article on the importance of conserving water. It's amazing that 75% of the Earth is water. Of the 75%, 97% of the water is salt water. I recently read an article stating 1% of Earth's water is for drinking. That is definitely a finite amount for the population of this entire world. I am definitely mindful now of my usage of water.

  3. I love the layout of this article! It is easy to read and very informative about why we need to protect this natural resource. I learned that only 0.5% of all of our planet's water is available for drinking and that is only if it is not chemically polluted by humans. I was also amazed at the facts about how much water it takes to make an apple compared to making a pound of ground beef. Wow!

  4. This is a great article on conserving water. I was unaware of how little of the Earth's water is actually available for safe drinking. (a little scary) It will definitely have people thinking how they can play a part in conservation.

  5. I enjoyed reading your article. "502,800 people die from diarrhea related to contaminated water." I didn't realize that so many people are affected by contaminated water. This is very sad to hear. I also didn’t realize that there was a small percentage of drinking water. The amount of water needed to make different items is amazing.

  6. I loved your article! The webtool that you used made it very easy to follow and fun to read. It made me think twice. I KNOW that we have to conserve water, that water can be easily contaminated, and that we have a finite supply of water; however, I don't always consciously think about this. This was a nice refresher and reminder to utilize my resources wisely. I also enjoyed your facts! To think that this is the same water that the dinosaurs used really puts it into perspective the cyclical nature of life and our duty to preserve it. Wonderful read!

  9. The layout used to present the information was very eye catching. Water is so very important for all living things! I know from experience my father-in-law is experiencing dehydration as a result of limited intake of fluids due to congestive heart failure. He is limited to 40 ounces of liquid per day. To visualize that is like 2 20oz bottles of water all day long! as a result his blood has began to thicken up. This leads to other problems with his health. I stated all that to reiterate that without water in the correct moderation we can not survive!
