"Spring" was written from the perspective of an eighteen-year-old girl who is writing in her diary about how her life is changing after she got accepted to the college that she applied to. After she realizes that leaving for college means that she also has to leave her family, she feels that she isn't ready to leave. After they remind her that they will always support her and they will always be there for her even if she goes to college, she realizes that she doesn't need to worry about leaving her home because her family will always support her even if she isn't physically with them. “Spring” is a touching poem about family love, family support, change and new beginnings. I hope you enjoy reading this poem. I put a lot of effort into writing it. I made a lot of references to nature because the arrival of spring and the changing of seasons is similar to how the main character is starting college and how her life is changing! - Amina R.
