Angelina, what an awesome resource to share the multiple intelligence theory with students! Thanks for sharing this visual with our students, Ms. Loudermilk :)
Yes, this is useful to show psych students what the Multiple Intelligence Theory is all about. It is equally important to then show them the many studies that have proved the scientific validity, of Gardner's work and the supporting studies, to be inadequate. We do not teach this theory as a legitimate explanation of learning.
Angelina, thanks for sharing this info on multiple intelligences. It's important for students to know what classification(s) they fall under. I especially liked how you included questions to ask yourself so that you can identify what classification you fall under.
Thank you so much Angelina for this informative post. The questions that you list to determine your classification could be given to students for them to answer before even talking about the theory. Answering the questions ahead of time would set the stage of learning about the multiple intelligences.
Thank you for summarizing this most important research. It is essential for students and teachers to understand that not everyone learns best with the same methods so that we may present and interact with content in multiple ways.

I was very happy to read about Multiple Intelligence theory since it is my favorite approach to teaching. It tackles all types of learners and it really works when we spend time getting to know our students along with their learning style. At one point in my classroom I used most of them in one class. There was a grammatical concept in French with conjugation which was challenging to most students. I asked one of the musicians students if he can do it into a rap song and he did. It was a great success some students learned the song and some learned through the beat. Also in conjugation there is a pattern so for my Mathematic students that was amazing to learn through predictable patterns. With the kinesthetic students we played a game of dissection where they dissected a sentence by cutting it then putting it back together and pointing out the grammatical concept we are looking for. Amazing theory that is since it provides personalized learning and fairness of learning to each student. Thank you for writing about it.
