  1. I love all the resources listed to help support AP students! I teach AP Statistics and would love to see more on "What I wish I Knew..." on this subject. I find many students are just not ready to tackle all the reading and vocabulary found in a "math course"!

  8. What great insight into taking AP courses! Practice practice practice is key and I love that you identified the need to brush up on prerequisite mathematics skills before or at the start of calculus. It makes such a difference! I love that you pointed out the suggestion of students not taking all the AP classes just for the sake of it but taking what aligns to their interest.

  11. From the tips to the resources, this blog is a must read for high school students! I really like that the author was very straight forward with what it really means to take AP classes. Many students hear earn college credit and they immediately want to take the courses OR their parents want them to take them. This article shares a different side to help with that perspective. Great job on the blog!

  12. I thought your blog was very informative. I completely agree that students should be aware of the workload they are committing to when signing up for an AP class. These classes move at quick paces and it is important to have study strategies in place to help you master the content. Many high school students are also taking advantage of dual enrollment opportunities at community colleges. This is another option for earning college credits and you don't have to take an AP test at the end of the semester to earn credit.

  13. This is so informative and great advice for high school students considering AP courses!! Really, great, practical advice "what I wish I had known". Upfront, clearly presented, valuable information. A 'must read'! AP courses can be a good experience and a great way to learn and earn college credit. However, they are big commitment and may not be for everyone.

  14. I appreciate the advice you shared in this article. For instance, recommending that students choose AP courses based on their interests as opposed to just taking higher level courses is very important. AP courses can be extremely challenging, and stressful; it makes it significantly more feasible to overcome the challenges of AP classes when you are genuinely interested in the subject and the content.

Additionally, I think you shared great advice on beginning studying for the AP exams in the early spring. This advice will help students get in the habit of preparing earlier for major exams, and will significantly reduce the stress load.

  15. I think it is great advice that student focus on the subjects they are interested in as opposed to taking any and all AP classes that they can fit into their schedule. Ultimately it's better for motivation and mental health, and students will be able to enjoy the content more.

  16. Sounds Good!!
You shared wonderful with users. According to me if you have interest or good in calculations then you have to choose the AP Calculus because it's very logical and algebraic formula's. I am little good in calculation and I contacted with Blue Ridge Boost for tuitions because they are providing the tutoring services and I recommended to take the tuitions from them.
