  1. Shruti, thank you for the great advice in this Canva. As a teacher, I like to provide suggestions for students who tell me they are studying but are not having success. Your ideas on location, taking breaks and choosing the best study time will definitely be added to my conversations in the future!

  3. I think these are such great pointers! Doing well in school is important but mental health and well being along with relationships with other peers is such an important part of the development of young adults. It is okay to build relationships and take breaks. The important part is the balance! Great job!

  4. I agree with the decluttering. I cannot begin to study or work on any kind of school work if my surrounding is a mess. I always feel the need to clean my surrounding before I begin to study or work on assignments

  5. I wish I knew this when I went to college. I think I would have been a better student. It took me a couple of years to learn that studying in my dorm room was not a productive environment for me. I found that going to another location like the library, coffee shop, or student center really helped me block out distractions and stay focused on my work.

  8. I wish more students knew how big a difference they would see in their comprehension and grades if they took the time to place themselves in a productive environment. It took until college for me to realize that a quiet place with no distractions was the number one contributor to me understanding content. Fantastic advice that students and adults alike could utilize!
